Reviews

We had a wonderful short break at Penllwyn Lodges. The setting and scenery were superb, it is an idyllic place and yet plenty of sightseeing is close by.

My husband and I took this break to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary and returned home today very reluctantly! The location could not be beaten. The Lodges are set into the hillside, well spaced out and with wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. We particularly liked the fact that all are individually designed and very well equipped. The reception we received was friendly and helpful and, on arrival, the lodge was clean and welcoming, with the heating and lights already on. This holiday is particularly suited to those wanting peace, quiet and lovely walks. Thank you Penllwyn - we shall definitely return!

I needed a relaxing break away from the stresses at work and home. This was an ideal place for me and at a very reasonable price. I would be happy to stay again :o)

This was our second Hoseasons break and again it was absolutely fab. We loved every minute of it and again I wanted to stay and live in our little cabin! Can't wait to book another little holiday. Thanks Hoseasons.

Excellent location close to Welshpool. Good accommodation with safe play areas and general facilities. Can walk around site freely but very hilly, some parts of the roads are single track but no issue with speed of cars. Excellent site and very friendly.

The lodges were in a woodland setting, perfect for people that want to get away from it all. We awoke to sounds of birds, and looked out our window and saw woodpeckers and squirrels - great for bird watching!

A really nice location with lovely views, lots of wildlife, and a great pub for Sunday lunch 5 minutes down the road (3 Horseshoes).

It's a beautiful location away from it all. I've never stayed somewhere so peaceful as this, and I would recommend this stay to anyone wanting to get away with no one to bother you. The staff were onsite at all times, but far enough away that you felt like you were in your own little paradise.
